Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is this GMATSites.com?

A. This is a dynamic list of the best GMAT websites, GMAT blogs, GMAT tutoring services, and other GMAT resources on the net.

Q. But wait, what’s the GMAT?

A. “GMAT” stands for Graduate Management Admissions Test. Its a widely used test that is required to get into MBA (Master’s of Business Administration) programs at business schools around the world.

A. GMATSites.com contains only links to sites that contain high quality GMAT stuff. No more surfing countless pages to find the occasional “good” site. GMATSites.com only includes the best, and is sorted by popularity.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. Nothing. It’s free for the visitor and it’s free for site owners to get listed. Kindly click on our sponsors’ advertisements if you wish to support the site.

Q. What’s in it for the listed site?

A. More visitors! If you have a GMAT-related site and are keen about sharing your stuff with more people, adding your site to the list is a great way to do it.

Q. How do I list my site?

A. Simple. Click the ADD YOUR SITE link and follow the instructions. All sites are reviewed manually before joining the list.

Q. How does the ranking system work?

A. Sites are ordered by the number of clicks that come from each site to GMATSites.com. (This is the IN column.) To track these clicks, site owners use a special unique URL when they link to GMATSites.com.

Q. How often are the site statistics updated?

A. Site statistics are updated every few seconds. The numbers reflect all the clicks IN and OUT in the last 30 days.

Q. I signed up and added my site but it is not listed. Why is that?

A. All sites are reviewed by hand before they join the list. Usually this is done right away, but please allow a couple days for this to occur. If you site has not yet appeared and you feel it should have, please email gmatsites.com@gmail.com.

Q. My site was removed because it went down. Now that it is back up, how do I get listed again?

A. If we notice the site is down for more than a day, we will suspend the account to keep users from attempting to go to an unresponsive link. Please e-mail gmatsites.com@gmail.com when it goes back up and we can reactivate your listing.

Q. Why would a site’s OUT number be higher than its IN number?

A. This means that the site has received more people from GMATSites.com than it has sent. This is good! GMATSites.com has 2 related goals:

  1. helping people find all the best resources so they can ace the GMAT, and
  2. helping GMAT site creators find a wider audience.

Q. I have a site listed, but my OUT number is higher then the number of my stats program.

A. There will be a small variance in the numbers, but should never be more than 5 percent. The main reason for the variance is that sometimes people click on a link, but do not wait until the page loads. In that case, GMATSites.com would have recorded the click, but your analytics package may not have. Keep in mind that the OUT (and IN) numbers show the number of clicks for the last 30 days, not the calendar month.
